Analysis of the Status of Wind Turbine Oil in Gearbox
To evaluate the performance of domestic gear oil used in a wind farm,samples of gear oil from four different tur-bines were tested in the paper,including indicators such as kinematic viscosity,viscosity index,pour point,acid value,and trace elements.The changes of these indicators under different operating times were analyzed.The results showed that during the operation of the wind turbine gearbox,the kinematic viscosity of the gear oil did not change significantly,and it could still form a stable oil film to ensure the normal operation of the gearbox.The changes in viscosity index and pour point were small,indicating no significant change in the low-temperature performance of the gear oil.The indicator of the wear scar diameter on the gear oil showed no deterioration trend,indicating that the oil could form a protective layer on the gear surface,ensuring effective meshing between the gears.The acid value did not change significantly during operation,indica-ting no significant oxidation of the gear oil.The trace elements in the gear oil did not show abnormal increase,indicating no abnormal wear in the wind turbine gearbox.The above results indicate that all the tested indicators satisfy the requirements,and domestic gear oil meets the usage needs of the wind turbine gearbox in the wind farm.
