Research on the Variation of Engine Oil Performance with Mileage
Engine oil is known as the"blood"of the engine and is crucial for the engine's lifespan. As the mileage increa-ses,the performance and physicochemical parameters of the engine oil gradually change, affecting the engine's related per-formance.Through driving experiments, samples of fully synthetic gasoline engine oil ACEA C3 5W-30 were obtained at different mileages.By analyzing the performance such as kinematic viscosity,TBN,MRV,acid value, oxidation value,ni-tration value,four-ball test, and elemental analysis of the samples, the changing trends of each physicochemical perform-ance with mileage were obtained, providing certain guidance for the oil change cycle.
