Establishment of In-Service Lubricating Oil Thresholds for Electric Locomotive Gearboxes Based on Statistical Analysis Methods
To ensure the safe operation of electric locomotives, the study examines the lubricating oil monitoring data of gearboxes and compares the use of statistical process control and statistical cumulative distribution methods to establish the threshold values for the kinematic viscosity(100 ℃)of the oil and the wear metal elements. The results show that both methods can effectively determine the alert and alarm values for the performance indicators of in-service lubricating oil, which is of great practical significance for improving equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
