Research on the Structure of High Vacuum Silicone Grease
Research on high vacuum silicone grease structure was operated using mid infrared(MIR)spectroscopy technol-ogy.The results show that the vibration modes corresponding to the infrared absorption peak of the structure of high vacu-um silicone grease mainly include CH3 functional group asymmetric stretching vibration(vasCH,-high vacuum silicone grease),CH3 func-tional group asymmetric bending vibration(δasCH,-high vacuum silicone grease),CH3 functional group symmetric bending vibration(δsCH3-high vacuum silicone grease),Si-O functional group stretching vibration(VSi-O-high vacuum silicone grease),Si-C functional group stretching vibration(vSi-C-highvacuumsiliconegrease)and CH3 functional group rocking vibration(ρCH3-high vacuum silicone grease).The vibra-tion modes corresponding to the infrared absorption peak of the auxiliary structure of high vacuum silicone grease mainly in-clude C=O functional group stretching vibration(vC=O-auxiliary structure-high vacuum silicone grease),CH2 functional group symmetric stretching vibration mode(vsCH2-auxiliarγ structure-high vacuum silicone grease),COO-functional group asymmetric stretching vibration(VasCOO-auxiliary structure-high vacuum silicone grease).MIR analysis shows that the structure of high vacuum silicone grease is basically the same as that of dimethicone.Semi quantitative research shows that the auxiliaries in high vacuum silicone grease mainly in-clude carbonyl compound antioxidants(with a relative content of about 1.0%)and carboxylate stabilizers(lithium stearate with a relative content of about 1.4%).
