Effect and Cause Analysis of Antiwear Agent T309 on Oxidation Stability of Hydrofined Oil
In this study, the pressurized differential scanning calorimeter(PDSC)is used to investigate the negative effects of triphenyl thiophosphate(T309),an antiwear agent commonly used in oil research and production,on the oxidation stabili-ty of hydrofined mineral oil.The results show that:when T309<0.2%,its negative effect on the oxidation stability of hydrofined mineral oil is zero;when T309>0.2%,it has obvious negative effect on the oxidation stability of hydrofined min-eral oil.2,6-di-tert-butyl-cresol(T501)antioxidant improves the oxidation stability of oil containing T309.
