Analysis of Performance Change of Lubricants for Motors at Low Temperature
With the implementation of China Ⅵ Emission Standards,the technical requirements on motors are constantly in-creasing.Based on test and data analysis,the change of performances of motor lubricants and causes for motor failure at low temperature are discussed.It is found that frequent regeneration of motor diesel particulate filter(DPF)is a main cause of fuel dilution.When the mixture of diesel oil and lubricant is fused and evaporated continuously in the motor,the kinematic viscosity decreases at high temperature,and no flow and the increased pour point occurs at low temperature.This affects the reliability of the motor operation.Based on the mechanisms and causes of failure,the measures for failure treatment and prevention are proposed.
