Case retrieval is an interdisciplinary application of law and computer science.Case retrieval technology aims to obtain candidate search results through case determination.The current research is conducted from two perspectives:legal and computer science.Through the deep integration of technology and fields,case retrieval is achieved to accurately serve the needs of judges in making judgments.Although the research on case retrieval technology is gradually becoming systematic,there is no systematic review of the development of related technolo-gies.To this end,first analyze the changes in the standards for defining similar cases in law,using shallow and deep text representation meth-ods as classification criteria,and discuss the research progress of similar case matching technology;Then compare the characteristics of three major case retrieval platforms:China Judgment Document Network,"Faxin",and"Peking University Magic Treasure";Finally,it is pro-posed that building large-scale annotated datasets,designing interpretable algorithms,and improving retrieval efficiency are the main devel-opment directions of future case retrieval technologies.Experiments have shown that there are many similar case retrieval platforms at present,but most of them are in the early stages,and the lack of stable algorithms with interpretability is an important factor affecting their development.
