Research on Student-Centered Collaborative Teaching Mode for Discrete Mathematics Inside and Outside of the Class
Discrete mathematics is a core course in the field of computer science. It aims to develop students' abilities in abstract thinking, meticulous generalization, and logical reasoning through the representation and analysis of discrete objects and states. However, the knowl-edge structure of discrete mathematics is often fragmented, with isolated concepts and disconnected topics. The course lacks concrete applica-tion examples in the field of computer science, which hinders students' understanding of the essence of discrete mathematics.Based on this,on the basis of analyzing the psychological characteristics of learners in discrete mathematics,we introduce the the"student-centered"teach-ing philosophy, apply the cooperative learning theory and the cooperative learning theory into the inner and outer class-studying.Further-more,from the perspectives of the inner class-teaching and outer class-studying,we design classroom teaching strategies and extracurricular group collaboration learning strategies.Through comparative experimental analysis, this teaching method has been found to effectively enhance learners' interest and achieve better teaching outcomes.
