Research on configuration and operation optimization of combined cooling, heating and power system based on bi-level optimization
Taking a combined cold, heat and power(CCHP)system of office building in Chengdu,China as a case study, based on the predicted energy requirements provided by the eQUEST software,a bilevel optimization model was built to realize the connection between capacity configuration and coordinated operation of CCHP system. The optimal configuration scheme of CCHP system was the combination of gas turbine(330.0 kW),waste heat boiler(500.0 kW),lithium bromide refrigerator(1 600.0 kW),gas-fired boiler(1 550.0 kW)and electric chiller(850.0 kW),which met the energy demand of office building.Compared with two types of single-layer optimization models, the system cost was reduced by 11 700 and 361 800 ¥,respectively.Meanwhile, the energy-utilization efficiency was improved, which shown a good application potential. The successful application of the bilevel optimization method was capable of providing a good demonstration and reference for optimizing system configuration and operation strategies of other types of building.
