摘要

目前的社会科学研究多集中在过去和现在的时间向度,且研究重心往往集中在描述和解释两个方面.在大模型等人工智能技术的辅助之下,通用人工智能时代将快速到来,世界可能会进入一种"智能失重"的状态.关于未来的研究,文学想象和哲学思辨虽非常重要,但还远远不够,思考如何将实证方法引入未来研究至关重要.量化未来就是用定量的思路来测量未来,具体可以在实验方法和结构估计两方面实现突破.量化未来的可能性议题主要体现在对通用人工智能的应对上.通用人工智能到来之后,超风险社会似乎不可避免.有效调速主义是一种理想方案,而量化未来则可被视为有效调速主义的一种操作性版本.最终,人们可能会在这种对未来相对精准的把握中实现一种有助于决策的预测科学.

Abstract

Currently,most social science research focuses on the past and present,with very little research on the future.At the same time,the focus of research is often on describing and explaining functions,and predictions are also rare.With the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies such as large models,the era of artificial general intelligence may quickly arrive.The world may enter a state of intelligent weightlessness.There are mainly two types of research on the future,namely literary imagination and philosophical speculation.These two categories are extremely important,but they are far from enough.Therefore,it is crucial to consider how to introduce empirical methods into future research.Quantifying the future means using a quantitative approach to measure the future.Regarding specific methods for quantifying the future,we can at least make breakthroughs in both experimental methods and structural estimation.Quantitative future research topics can be reflected in the response to artificial general intelligence.After the arrival of artificial general intelligence,a high-risk society seems inevitable.Effective speed regulation is an ideal solution,while quantifying the future can be seen as an operational version of effective speed regulation.Ultimately,people may achieve a predictive science that is helpful for decision-making in this relatively precise grasp of the future.
