The courage to self-reform is the valuable historical experience gained by the Communist Party of China after more than one hundred years of struggle.Further promoting the Party's self-reform is an important and key link in the new era and new journey to comprehensively and strictly govern the Party.To further promote the Party's self-reform,it is a must to rely on both firmly building the Party in ideology and strictly building the Party on system basis.Strict institutional governance of the Party is the fundamental element of using the"two magic weapons"to break out of the historical cycle of rise and fall,the fundamental solution to solve the problems unique to a large Party,the fundamental guarantee to purify and optimize the political ecology within the Party,and the fundamental measure to promote the construction of an integrated system that members of the Party dare not,cannot,and do not want to be corrupt.In furthering the Party's new journey of self-reform,it is a must to further deepen the reform of the Party's leadership system and effectively implement the Party's democratic centralism;further deepen the reform of the cadre system and improve the public trust in the selection of personnel;and further deepen the reform of the power supervision system and organically integrate intra-Party supervision with people's supervision.
