At the new situation of global economic downturn,rapid technological revolution,and intense international competition,the Chinese biopharmaceutical industry is progressing a critical period of innovative development,requiring the cultivation of pharmaceutical innovation talents with international perspectives,innovative driving forces,and practical capabilities.After years of relentless exploration,China's cultivation of top-tier talents in basic disciplines has evolved from"single-school pilot programs"to a"multi-school collaborative effort",marking a leap from isolated training to an organized,comprehensive system.This progression has provided crucial support in building a strategic talent reserve for the nation.It is imperative to accelerate the construction of a high-level faculty,robustly promote the development of high-capacity practical platforms,and deepen the integration of industry and education,as well as science and education ecosystems.The goal is to nurture pharmaceutical innovation talents capable of breaking through disciplinary boundaries and driving disruptive innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.This will aid China's transition in new drug development from"following"and"running alongside"to"leading",ultimately contributing to China's rise as a global pharmaceutical power.
