The revival of Chinese civilization can be defined in three senses:the revival of China as a carrier of civilization,the revival of China as the world's leading civilization,and the revival of China as a component of modern civilization.Becoming an integral part of modern civilization is an appropriate choice for the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization.Only those that aim at"modern"will be healthy and powerful enough to guide the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization.Therefore,it is necessary to accurately understand the meaning of the revival of Chinese civilization in the coordinates of the world and the country.Then,between the two ends of"taking the West as the method"and"taking China as the method","taking the world as the method"is the rational approach to understand the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization.On this basis,it is necessary to go beyond the mentality of viewing"modern"from an aesthetic perspective and always pursuing an idealized and utopian"modern",and plan the path of Chinese-style modernization in ancient and modern dimensions based on realistic feasibility,so as to realize the"modern"revival of Chinese civilization,rather than the pre-modern or post-modern"revival",and help the healthy development of human civilization.
