R245fa/HFOs Working Fluid Selection of Liquid Separation Condenser-based Organic Rankine Cycle System
Organic Rankine cycle is one of the effective technologies for medium and low grade thermal energy recovery.Liquid separation condenser-based organic Rankine cycle(LSCORC)is a new type of thermodynamic cycle based on liquid-vapor separation condensation heat transfer enhancement. In order to search for new environmentally friendly alternative working fluids,a thermodynamic model of the LSCORC system was established, with the goal of maximizing net output power, focusing on the Jakob number and the impact of the heat source and heat sink heat transfer matching on system performance, and the R245fa/HFOs working fluids were compared and selectd. The results show that the greater the Jakob number of the working fluid, the smaller the net output power;under the basic operating condi-tions,R245fa/R1336mzz(Z)has the best thermal performance and thermal economy;when the heat source parameters change, the performance of the working fluid with a smaller Jakob number is generally better than that of a working fluid combination with a larger Jakob number;when the heat sink parameters change, the working fluid with close match of temperature glide and the temperature rise of heat sink in two flow processes of liquid-vapor seperation condenser, has the greater net output power.
