Effect of Fuel Stratification Ratio on Emission Performance of Central Staged Combustor
The emission performance of a single-dome central staged combustor was studied by experi-ment and numerical simulation.TDLAS system and flue gas analyzer were used to obtain the combustor space temperature and outlet pollutant concentration, and the results were compared with the numerical results.By using the verified numerical calculation method, the influence of different fuel stratification ratios on emission performance of combustor at the same equivalence ratio was analyzed. The results show that fuel stratification ratio has little effect on the total pressure loss of the combustor.Combustor outlet temperature distribution factor(OTDF)decreases with the increase of the proportion of pre-combustion fuel, and increases with the increase of the proportion of main-combustion fuel. The outlet NOx volume fraction differs greatly at different fuel stratification ratios, and the lowest is 47 × 10-6.And there is little difference in outlet CO volume fraction, with a minimum of 8 × 10-6.As the temperature in the combus-tion zone increases, the NOx volume fraction in combustor increases rapidly.
