Effects of seed coating agent on the growth and content of glycyrrhizic acid of Glycyrrhiza uralensis
Objective To understand Effects of seed coating agent on the growth and content of glycyrrhizic acid of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, providing theoretical basis and technical support for the promotion of seed coating technology. Method Analysis the 70% ethanol extract of flour of G. uralensis root by measuring the length of G. uralensis root with dividing ruler, measuring the weight of G. uralensis after drying, and measuring the content of glycyrrhizic acid using HPLC. Elution by using octadecyl bonded silica as filler, acetonitrile as mobile phase A, 0.05% phosphoric acid solution as mobile phase B, the detection wavelength was 237nm.Result Glycyrrhizae seed dressing can incresase the length and weight of Glycyrrhizae root and content of Glycyrrhizic acid, the coating group, the content of glycyrrhizic acid in the coated group increased by 0.01% than that of the uncoated group. Conclusion Seed coating agent can help increasing length and weight of root, and promoting the growth of G. uralensis. HPLC is an accurate method with high sensitivity good repeatability and low cost, it can be used for determination of glycyrrhizic acid in G. uralensis. Seed coating agent can improve the content of Glycyrrhizic acid in G. uralensis.
