Determination of 8 chemical substances in massage gel by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry
A method of ultra-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)was established to rapidly screen and accurately quantify of 7 illegally added anti-inflammatory analgesics(namely paracetamol, aminopyrine, prednisone, hydrocortisone, ketoprofen, naproxen, and diclofenac sodium)and nonivamide in massage gel.The samples were ultrasonically extracted by methanol and analyzed on an Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18(3.0 mm×50 mm×1.8 μm-micron)column by gradient elution, using 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate aqueous-methanol as the mobile phase.Electrospray ion source(negative and positive ion mode)and multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)mode were used for MS detection.Meanwhile, the analytes were quantified by external standard method, and the results show that there are good linear relationships for the target compounds in the range from 0.005 0 to 0.40 mg/L,with the correlation coefficients(r)greater than 0.999.The limits of detection(LOD)and the limits of quantitation(LOQ)of the method are in the ranges of 0.000 3~0.001 mg/L and 0.001~0.004 mg/L,respectively.At three spiked levels, the recoveries for the target compounds are 90.9%~116.7%,with the relative standard deviations(RSD)of 0.8%~4.1%(n=5).This method is simple, rapid, high sensitivity, accurate and precise, which is suitable to rapidly screen and accurately quantify of 7 illegally added anti-inflammatory analgesics and nonivamide in massage gel.
