The Developments in the Use of Whey Protein in Infant Formula
Human milk is the ideal feeding for newborn infants.But when this is not available,the newborn must be given infant formula.Most of the baby formulas available today are based on cow's milk.One of the primary compositional gaps between human milk and cow milk-based infant formula is the difference in whey protein content.The different in protein between human and cow's milk and the benefits of supplementing infant formulas with whey protein are discussed.
