1923年的"关东大屠杀"事件反映出日本社会底层民众的情绪、媒体鼓噪与政治围剿的上下合流,导致了对朝鲜人群体的极端暴力和系统性迫害,揭示了当时日本社会内部深刻的民族矛盾和政治操控.大正时期,关于朝鲜人的报道中,就频现"不法""暴动"等负面评价;在关东大地震后传言遍布、人人自危的极端状况下,日本人对"在日朝鲜人"、统治者对持异见者的排斥心理被进一步放大.屠杀一事也被自辩为是正当防卫、维稳之举,从而真正的罪责问题在政府隐瞒、媒体粉饰、皇室特赦中逐步被虚化、消解.媒体报道中自警团的"失控",与震灾日记中日本人参与屠杀"外地人"或冷眼旁观时的麻木互为表里,而强制推行的"戒严令"又为军队、警察及其他权力外围组织的暴力性作了掩护."关东大屠杀"事件呈现出了近代日本内部存在的结构性问题和民族国家症结的一面,日本帝国有预谋地制作和遮蔽史实,拒绝了后来者对相关事件按图索骥地进行再调查、再评价、再审视;由此,占据主流的官方叙事为"屠杀否定论"的滋生提供了土壤,也与民族仇恨、极端民族主义与民粹主义蔓延构成了现实因果关系.
Abstract
The 1923"Kantō Massacre"highlights the convergence of public sentiment,media agitation,and political persecu-tion in Japanese society,leading to extreme violence and systemic persecution of the Korean community.This event exposed deep-seated ethnic tensions and political manipulation in Japan at the time.Negative portrayals of Koreans as"illegal"and"re-bellious"were common in media reports during the Taishō period.In the post-earthquake panic,fears and prejudices against Koreans and dissidents were amplified.The massacre was justified as self-defense and maintaining order,with real accountabil-ity obscured by government cover-ups,media distortion,and imperial pardons.The media portrayal of vigilante actions as un-controllable,combined with the indifference of Japanese bystanders,mirrored the state-imposed martial law that shielded the violence of military and police forces.The"Kantō Massacre"revealed structural issues and nationalist problems within modern Japan,with the imperial government deliberately obscuring historical facts and hindering subsequent investigations and reeval-uations.This official narrative fostered denial of the massacre and contributed to the spread of ethnic hatred,extreme national-ism,and populism.
