Printing and dyeing technology in Pingyang is a traditional handicraft in the southern region of Shanxi province.With the process of modernization and the improvement of people's awareness of traditional culture,it is also fac-ing the transformation from tradition to modernity.The inheritance and innovation in contemporary design has become an important subject in the study of printing and dyeing in Pingyang.Based on the perspective of regional culture,the deriva-tive design of printing and dyeing in Pingyang can provide reference for the design and practice of related fields.
