As a traditional plant pattern,plum blossom pattern originated in the Warring States Period,developed in the Sui and Tang dynasties,and matured in the Song dynasty.This paper summarized and combed the Song dynasty clothing unearthed in Huangsheng Tomb and Chayuanshan Song tomb in Fuzhou,and combined with relevant historical documents and image materials,analyzed its artistic characteristics from three aspects of subject matter,composition and modeling,and then explained its artistic characteristics and cultural implications.
