Miao costume witnesses the evolution of Hmong history and is an important carrier of racial information.Mythological images adorning the Miao costumes reflect the primitive living condition and spiritual core of the Miao forefa-thers,which are the cognition and artistic expression of the world at the time when saw the first emergence of the aesthetic consciousness,and contain the wisdom,beliefs and aesthetic concepts of the Miao forefathers.By analyzing the mythologi-cal images in Miao costumes and exploring the aesthetic meaning and contemporary value behind the images.
