Research progress of reactive dye printing process
Reactive dyestuff is the most common type of dyestuff used in cotton textile printing,which has the ad-vantages of high solubility,high color fixation rate,good stability,etc.There are K type,N type,M type,etc.The appropri-ate dyestuff should be selected according to the printing color fixation process.The commonly used printing process is long and uses urea and baking soda as color fixing agents,resulting in a large amount of wastewater and polluting the environ-ment.To solve the above problems,color fixing agents such as sodium formate,dicyandiamide,ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid sodium,and tertiary amines can be used,and cationic modified cotton fibers or reactive dyes can also be used to im-prove the dye uptake.The above two methods can be applied to the high temperature baking method and steam method to prepare printed fabrics with high color fixation rate.
