High whiteness one-bath method and low-temperature pretreatment process for loose cotton
Firstly, the issues of whiteness testing and uniformity in the low liquor ratio pretreatment of loose cotton were addressed by using dispersed fiber clamps and bundle mouth yarn bags. The liquor ratio was determined to be 1∶8 with 5 g of loose cotton.Based on this, compared with the conventional scouring one-bath method, the high whiteness one-bath method and low-temperature pretreatment process for loose cotton were explored. The results indicate that the optimal process for high whiteness one-bath pretreatment process for loose cotton were as follows:NaOH 3 g/L,30%hydrogen per-oxide 16 g/L,TF-129HL 0.6 g/L,TF-122H 3 g/L,temperature 98℃,time 50 min.The low-temperature pretreatment pro-cess for loose cotton were as follows:NaOH 3 g/L,30%hydrogen peroxide 16 g/L,TF-1291K 1 g/L,temperature 80℃,time 50 min. Both processes resulted in higher whiteness of the loose cotton compared to the original process, and the over-all costs is lower.
