Study on the homochromatic properties of cationic modified polyester/acrylic fiber
One-bath dyeing iterative polyester ITER-C/acrylic is prone to color difference. The feasibility of one-bath dyeing of two types of fibers is discussed by measuring the dyeing curve of both single-component fibers. The effects of dyeing temperature and pH on the one-bath dyeing property of two types of fibers are tested.By measuring the dyeing curve and build-up curve of the two types of fibers in one-bath dyeing, the dyeing effect of cationic dyes on the two types of fibers in one-bath dyeing is further explored. The results show that the dye uptake increases rapidly at 50℃for ITER-C and 70℃for acrylic fiber and stabilizes gradually after 100℃.When dyeing ITER-C/acrylic fibers in one bath, the op-timal dyeing temperature is 105℃and the optimum dyeing pH is 4.5.The dye uptake of cationic dyes on ITER-C is high-er than that of acrylic fibers. When the dye dosage is below 4%(omf),the higher the dye dosage, the better the fiber union dyeing property.
