Shaanxi folk five-poison pattern is a unique folk culture.Based on Peirce's triadic symbol theory,a triadic model of pattern elements,innovative design and user composition is proposed,which can help the inheritance and innovation of folk culture.By combing the source culture,we first interpreted the symbolic relationship between Shaanxi folk five-poison pattern from the three dimensions of image symbol,indicator symbol and symbolic symbol,then used KANO model to decode user needs,screen priority and match design elements,and finally completed the design and coding of five-poison pattern in modern clothing and articled to verify the feasibility of the model.It provides feasible ideas for the development and innovation of folk culture.
