Innovative Information Analysis Method for Gigamaps in Complex Socio-Technical Systems Design
Gigamaps,as a tool for bolstering designers'comprehension and proficiency in managing complex information,play a significant role in effectively organizing vast amounts of information to generate sustainable innovative solutions in complex socio-technical systems design.In response to the challenge that existing Gigamaps information analysis methods fail to accurately guide designers in extracting design insights from massive and complex data,this study pro-poses an innovative analysis methodology tailored for the design of complex socio-technical systems.This methodology was tested and reflected upon through practical cases,ultimately forming the"addition(comprehensive collection of system element types and content),multiplication(in-depth exploration of interactions between system elements),subtraction(simplification to form an integrated system information cloud),and division(extraction of key insights from the information cloud)"approach.This methodology aims to help designers enhance their ability to solve complex socio-technical system problems based on Gigamaps.
