Characteristics and comprehensive prevention and control strategy of foot and mouth disease in cattle
Foot and mouth disease(FMD)of cattle has become the"No.One killer"in modern high-quality and efficient husband-ry of dairy and beef cattle due to its fast transmission,acute onset,high outbreak rate,high mortality rate and high virus variability.This paper analyzed the pathogenic and epidemiological characteristics of FMD,and clarified the pathological process,clinical symptoms,and comprehensive prevention and control strategies of bovine FMD.It is hoped to provide useful references for the healthy development of mod-ern high-quality and efficient cattle farming industry by improving the epidemic monitoring system,effectively strengthening immunization,enhancing biosafety levels,strengthening emergency plans and active treatment.
