Progress and Strategy of Protein and Energy Requirement of Giant Pandas
Requirements of average dry matter intake, gross energy, digestible energy, crude protein, digestible crude protein and level of Lys in concentrated feed were calculated based on the results of studies on the characteristic of food intake, nutrient detection in animal organs and bamboo, digestibility of nutrient. The results are helpful to decide the proportion of concentrated feed and vegetable feed, nutritional level of concentrated feed, the ratio of different nutrient for giant pandas.
