New Record of Murina feae in Guangdong and Jiangxi Provinces, China
In 2014 and 2015,2 and 1 bat specimens were collected using harp traps from Heishiding Nature Reserve,Fengkai county,Guangdong province and Jiulian Mountains,Longnan county,Jiangxi province,China,respectively.All specimens are small-sized with multiple bands of colour on the hairs.The dorsal hair is blackish bases,a buffy gray band in the middle,then dark gray brown tips,while ventral fur has dark grey bases with silvery white tips.The braincase is slightly inflated with a well-developed and protruding rostral depression.All the external characteristics are consistent with the redescription of Murinafeae by Francis and Eger in 2012.These records represent the first record in Guangdong and Jiangxi.All specimens were deposited in Key Laboratory of Conservation and Application in Biodiversity of South China,School of Life Sciences,Guangzhou University,Guangzhou,China.
