Investigation of Butterfly Diversity in the Guangwu Mountain National Scenic Area,Sichuan
From May to October 2021,multiple collecting trips for the survey of butterfly species insects were carried out in the Guangwu Mountain National Scenic Area and its surrounding area in Bazhong City,Sichuan Province.A total of 117 species of butterflies belonging to 80 genera and 5 families were found.Among these butterfly specimens,Nym-phalidae butterflies had the dominant species number(n=55,47.01%),followed by Hesperiidae(n=20),Lycaenidae(n=16),Pieridae(n=15),and Papilionidae(n=11).The survyed butterfly specimens included 44 Oriental species,10 Palearctic species,48 widespread species,and 15 unidentified species.Moreover,the biodiversity of butterflies in the area was higher than some nature reserves and scenic areas,indicating that the biodiversity in the area was in order and had not been damaged by large-scale human disturbance.
