摘要

2023年于广东省惠州市惠东县莲花山采集到3号后棱蛇属Opisthotropis物种标本,经分子和形态学比对后鉴定为深圳后棱蛇O.shenzhenensis,为该种已知最东分布点.此前,深圳后棱蛇形态数据仅依据2号雄性和4号雌性模式系列标本确定,本研究依据新采的2号雄性标本和1号雌性标本,对深圳后棱蛇进行了形态学的补充描述.深圳后棱蛇目前仅知6个分布点,集中于深圳和东莞,结合其分布和栖息地现状,依据IUCN濒危物种红色名录的评定标准,建议将其评估为易危(VU)等级.

Abstract

Three specimens of the genus Opisthotropis were collected from Mt.Lianhua,Huidong County,Huizhou City,Guangdong Province in 2023,and were identified as O.shenzhenensis by molecular and morphological comparison.Mt.Li-anhua was found to be the easternmost known distribution site of O.shenzhenensis.Previously,the morphological data of O.shenzhenensis was only based on the type specimens including two males and four females.In this study,the expanded description was provided based on the newly collected specimens,including two males and a single female.At present,there are only six known distribution sites of O.shenzhenensis which are concentrated in Shenzhen and Dongguan,Guang-dong Province.Therefore,O.shenzhenensis should be listed as Vulnerable(VU)based on the IUCN conservation status categorization(assessment criteria:B2a,biii)according to its current distribution range and habitat quality.
