Isolation,Identification and Antimicrobial Susceptibility of Intestinal Bacteria from Diarrhea Pluvialis fulva in Longnan
To protect and rescue Pluvialis fulva in the wild, and to prevent the spreading of opportunistic pathogens with health risk to local people and livestocks. The cloacal bacteria of P.fulva with diarrhea from Longnan City(Gansu Prov-ince,China)was isolated and cultured, followed by Gram staining, biochemical test,16S rRNA gene sequencing, and an-timicrobial susceptibility testing. The result showed that five strains of bacteria,Staphylococcus gallinarum(LNJBH1),Escherichia coli(LNJBH2),Enterococcus faecalis(LNJBH3),Bacillus aryabhattai(LNJBH4)and Escherichia fergusonii(LNJBH5),were identified. All the tested strains were resistant to lincomycin, while LNJBH1 was resistant to piperacil-lin,ampicillin,vancomycin,penicillin and erythromycin,LNJBH2 was resistant to cefazolin, cefoperazone, ampicillin, minocycline, vancomycin, penicillin and erythromycin,LNJBH3 was resistant to kanamycin, penicillin, gentamicin and tetracycline,LNJBH4 was resistant to ceftazidime, piperacillin and penicillin,LNJBH5 was resistant to cephalexin,ce-fazolin and streptomycin. This study contributes to the treatment of P.fulva with diarrhea and the prevention and control of wild animal infectious disease in livestock and poultry breeding.
