Research on influencing factors of public negative emotion perception of natural disasters from an ex-ante perspective
Based on a large-scale online questionnaire survey,a total of 2408 questionnaires on the public's negative emotion perception of natural disasters were obtained from an ex-ante perspective,and machine learning algorithm was used to model and tune the data.Then,the data visualization analysis was performed using SHAP and Accumulated Local Effects Plot,and the results were interpreted in combination with the practical significance.The results showed that:(1)"lost contact after natural disasters","poor rescue after natural disasters"and"insufficient support after natural disasters"are the most concerned by the public.(2)Years of working,age,occupation and educational background are the important humanistic influencing fac-tors of negative emotion perception of natural disasters from an ex-ante perspective.(3)occupational stress is positively correlated with the public's negative emotion perception of natural disasters from an ex-ante perspec-tive.(4)Minors,unemployed people,workplace newbie,left-behind children,widowed elderly and people with high occupational stress are vulnerable to the negative emotion perception of natural disasters.(5)The increased attention of the public to"disaster risk in the city","disaster risk in the country","insufficient sup-port after natural disasters","insufficient prevention before natural disasters"and"lost contact after natural di-sasters"will significantly aggravate their negative emotion perception of natural disasters.Based on the re-search,suggestions were proposed to reduce the public negative emotion perception of natural disaster under normal conditions.At the same time,the emotional channeling strategies of natural disaster was proposed.
