Evaluation of Anti-seismic Performance of Regional Rural Dwellings Based on Field Sampling Investigation
Considering that the current situation and the deficiency of the anti-seismic performance of rural residential buildings on single buildings rather than regions,we established models based on field survey data,Google images and other relevant data affecting seismic performance of rural residential buildings. We obtained calculation methods of anti-seismic performance index for rural residential buildings at a township scale at Deyang city in Sichuan province as a case study area. The specific methods are as follows:(1)30 townships within 119 townships in 6 districts(counties)were selected as the sampling survey points. The investigation methods included on-site inspection,on-site instrument measurement, and questioning on local villagers. The investigation contents included types of house structure,anti-seismic measures were/were not taken during construction and sites conditions.(2)The model of area proportion of brick-concrete structures in rural residential buildings was established based on the following aspects:population density and total retail sales of social consumer goods per capita in the sample townships, independent variables for the area proportion of brick-concrete structure houses.(3)An anti-seismic performance index model of rural residential buildings was constructed with the area ratio of brick-concrete buildings, average slope, and independent variables for geological disaster point density in sample townships, and the anti-seismic performance index of rural residential buildings.(4)The anti-seismic performance index of 119 townships in the whole study area was calculated using the anti-seismic performance index model. The results show that:(1)the area proportion model of brick-concrete structure and the anti-seismic performance index model of rural residential buildings show a high accuracy.(2)The results calculated by the anti-seismic performance model can intuitively reflect the spatial distribution of the anti-seismic performance of rural residential buildings in the study area.Compared with previous work, the methods could greatly reduce time and economic cost for large-scale investigations within anti-seismic performance of rural dwellings.
