Based on the survey results along the provincial highway S217 in Shimian County,Sichuan Province,this study focused on the development and distribution characteristics of the geological disasters induced by the Ms6.8 earthquake in Luding County,and on the basis of analyzing the disaster control factors and the evolution trend of the geological disasters after the earthquake,andsome suggestions on disaster prevention and reduction of geological disasters in earthquake areas are suggested.It provides scientific basis for disaster reconstruction planning and geological disaster prevention in earthquake area.
