The Application of Audio-frequency Magnetotelluric Method in the Exploration of Rongxuka Raremetal Mining Are in Sichuan Province-Taking the No.6 Pegmatite Vein as an Example
In order to further understand the characteristics of the deep morphology and occurrence of the pegmatite veinsin the Rongxuka Raremetal Mining Are in Sichuan Province, the No.6 pegmatite vein with great changes in surface morphology and occurrence was selected, and 3 audio magnetotelluric sounding profiles were carried out vertically according to the line distance of 40m and the point distance of 10-20m.After comprehensive interpretation, the spatial position of the anomaly zones M11,M12,M21,M22 and M23 on the profile is continuous, and the morphology is consistent with the expansion and branching phenomenon of pegmatite veins revealed by the surface exploration trough. The abnormal morphology shows that the deep occurrence of pegmatite veins is westward, extending to 100m~200m and may be pinched out.M13 is consistent with the concealed pegmatite veins predicted by primary halo measurement.PD1 and PD1-CM1 tunnels were used for verification, revealing that the pegmatite vein was 11.6m thick and its occurrence was 268°∠83°.The sampling analysis showed that the Li2O grade was 0.866%~1.32%and the BeO grade was 0.046%~0.07%.It is proved that the audio magnetotelluricmethod is effective in finding concealed pegmatite veins in Rongxuka area.
