The Sichuan Basin is enriched in dinosaur fossils due to its continuous Mesozoic strata,and Zigong is a leader in producing dinosaur fossils.As one of the three major dinosaur fossil sites in Zigong,Qinglong Mountain in Dashu village has been found to be rich in fossil quantity and species.Based on the field systematic investigation,the species characteristics,distribution characteristics and occurrence lithology characteristics of paleontological fossils in Dashu village were summarized and analyzed,and the existing problems and suggestions of fossil protection were suggested,which provided a scientific basis for the protection,development and utilization of paleontological fossil resources.
