Ruihai gold ore body is located in the shallow sea in the northern part of Jiaodong,and is a typical altered rock type gold ore body.It has been widely concerned by scholars because of its huge reserves.In this paper,the process mineralogy of gold ore in the study area was studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)and Electron Probe X-ray Micro-Analyzer(EPMA).The research results show that the main gold-bearing minerals in the ore body are pyrite,followed by galena and quartz.The particle size of gold is small,mainly fine-microfine grains(0.037~≤ 0.01mm).Gold minerals are mostly granular,accompanied by line,leaf,hook,branch,dumbbell and other forms.There are four states of occurrence:interstitial gold,fissure gold,inclusion gold and intergranular gold.It is mainly composed of interstitial gold,and distributed in the interstitial pores of pyrite in the form of breccia-like and flaky aggregation.Gold minerals are composed of Au,Ag and sulfide.The gold color is 596~923,mainly silver gold,the second is natural gold.Based on the study of process mineralogy in this paper,the ore-forming source of the orebody in Ruihai gold deposit is mesothermal magmatic hydrothermal.
