Development Characteristics and Control Suggestions of Debris Flow in Haqulai Gully,Waga Village,Haqu Township,Ebian Yi Autonomous County
On August 20,2019,a debris flow disaster broke out in Haqulai gully excavation in Ebian County,resulting in the deposition of debris flow in the courtyard of Goukou Township Government,some houses were damaged,and the volume of debris flow accumulation was about 2000 m3.The catchment area of Haqulai gully is small,but the trench is straight and the longitudinal slope is large,which is a typical gully type debris flow.The loose material source in the gully is rich,and it has the characteristics of complex origin,sudden outbreak and great harm under the condition of rainfall.According to the development characteristics of debris flow in Haqulai gully,the natural environment,formation conditions,basic characteristics and hazards of debris flow were found out through field investigation.The important characteristic values of debris flow,including debris flow fluid gravity,velocity,discharge,one time outflow,one-time solid outflow,the whole impact pressure of debris flow,climbing height and maximum impact height,are quantitatively calculated.According to the survey data and the development characteristics of debris flow gully,the measures of stopping sedimentation+blocking+drainage are designed for comprehensive remediation.
