Petrological Characteristics and Protolith Reconstruction of the Lower Carboniferous Kolo Gneiss in the North Erlong area of Heilongjiang Province
The Lower Carboniferous Kolo gneiss exposed along the Gongbiela River in North Erlong has been subjected to amphibolite facies metamorphism. The plastic rheological characteristics are obvious, rheological fold, ocular structure and tensile lineation are developed, and the primary rock characteristics are basically changed. The rock types include leptite, biotite plagioclase granulite, biotite monzonite granulite, biotite plagioclase gneiss, hornblende plagioclase gneiss, and plagioclase amphibolite.Based on a comprehensive analysis of its petrochemical and petrogeochemical characteristics,it is considered that the Lower Carboniferous Colo gneiss in this area should be a set of basic volcanic-medium-acid pyroclastic rocks, which have the characteristics of island arc volcanic rocks and back-arc basin construction.
