Research on Geological Characteristics of Building Stone Limestone of Maokou Formation in the Southern Yibin Area
Based on studying the feasibility of Permian Maokou Formation limestone in Gongxian County,Junlian County,Xingwen County,Changning area in the southeast of Yibin,it is found that the Permian Maokou Formation limestone in the study area mainly lies in the south wing of Jianwu syncline(Junlian-Xunsi-Luobiuo-WangJia)and the two wings of Gongchang anticline(Xunchang-Didong-Dahe-Shihai-Gongle-Dongdi),which has great resource potential.The results show that the water-saturated compressive strength,firmness,crushing value,sulfate,sulfide and alkali activity of Maokou Formation bioclastic limestone in the study area meet the general requirements of building stones.The technical indexes of Maokou Formation limestone in this area can meet the requirements of grade Ⅰ ore.
