Lithium Element Enrichment Law and Prospective Analysis of Lithium Ore in Guizhou
Based on the geochemical characteristics of lithium, this paper discusses the enrichment laws of primary and sedimentary lithium ores, and analyzes the prospects of lithium ore in Guizhou. It is proposed that the main enrichment mode of primary lithium is closely related to collisional anatexis granite(pegmatite),while the main enrichment mode of sedimentary lithium ore is related to biological and clay mineral adsorption. The main primary lithium deposits in China are mainly distributed in orogenic structural system suture zones.Guizhou has abundant primary and sedimentary lithium ores resources. The primary lithium ore is related to the continental crust modification collisional acid peraluminous granites in Congjiang-Fanjingshan area, which are related to the breakup and disintegration of the Neoproterozoic Rodinia supercontinent. While the sedimentary lithium ore is mainly derived from clayey rocks and carbonaceous mudstones in the littoral-shallow and lacustrine facies from the Devonian to the Middle Permian.Although the grade of sedimentary lithium deposits in Guizhou is low, they often have large to super-large scales and have broad prospects for comprehensive utilization of various useful elements and minerals.Similar metallogenic geological backgrounds also exist in other regions of China, such as the Yangtze,North China and Tarim blocks.Sedimentary lithium ore resources are a promising mining direction.
