Research on the Determination Method of Zinc Content in Zinc Castor Oil Acid
Nowadays, zinc castor oil is widely used as an efficient and environmentally friendly new deodorizing material, and the high or low zinc content directly affects the deodorization effect of zinc castor oil. However, there is no national standard for the determination of zinc content in zinc castor oil,and there are relatively few literature reports and experimental studies. To this end, comparative research experiments were conducted on the determination of zinc content in castor oil acid zinc using chromium black T indicator EDTA complexometric titration, xylenol orange indicator EDTA complexometric titration, and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy, and the key influencing factors of EDTA complexometric titration for determining zine content in castor oil acid zine were analyzed. The research results indicate that the two EDTA complexometric titration methods and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy have similar measurement results, with good accuracy and applicability. However, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy is not suitable for the analysis of large-scale production samples. The two EDTA complexometric titration methods are simple, fast, and economical, and can better meet practical detection needs.
