Establishment of a Prediction Model for the Melt index of Polypropylene Homopolymer Grades in Double Loop Pipes
The molecular weight of polypropylene is characterized by melt index(MFR)in industrial production, and mastering the quantitative relationship between MFR and relevant process data can provide clear guidance for actual production work.To this end,a melt index prediction model was established for the homopolymer grade of the double loop polypropylene process.By fitting and optimizing the model parameters based on actual production data, the model parameters for three homopolymer grades were obtained. The results showed that the average relative errors of the simulated melt index values for PPH-T03,PPH-Y26,and PPH-FCP80 homopolymer grades were 2.49%,2.92%,and 2.86%,respectively,which met the actual production requirements and could provide guidance for actual production and reference for parameter adjustment in the process of switching grades.
