Research and Application of Innovative Methods for Producing LPG Using Depropanizing Towers
Based on the study of the principle of the fractionation unit system in a natural gas processing unit of a petrochemical unit,the process parameters such as pressure,flow rate,and temperature were adjusted and the process was optimized to achieve the shutdown of the butane removal distillation tower and related ancillary equipment,and only the propane removal distillation tower and related ancillary equipment were operated to produce liquefied gas(LPG)and light hydrocarbon products,thereby achieving the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction while realizing economic benefits.Comparing the operating data before and after,it will generate an annual economic benefit of 4.38 million yuan and save energy and reduce emissions by 53 tce.
