The Relationship Between Mindfulness Levels and Professional Identity Among Preschool Normal Students:the Mediating Role of Psychological Capital
To investigate the relationship between mindfulness levels and professional identity among preschool normal students at universities,as well as the mediating role of psychological capital,a survey was conducted using the Professional Identity Questionnaire, the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire, and the Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire among 471 participants. The results revealed that the professional identity of preschool normal students was generally above average, with significant differences observed across grade levels, professional choice motives, and academic performance.Furthermore, mindfulness levels were found to positively predict overall professional identity and its dimensions.Psychological capital played a full mediating role in the relationship between mindfulness levels and professional identity. Therefore, universities and relevant departments should prioritize enhancing students'mindfulness levels and actively promote the application of mindfulness training in educational settings.Additionally, efforts should be made to strengthen the cultivation of psychological capital to further support the development of students'professional identity.
