Constructing an Urban Attractiveness Evaluation Model Based on Maslow's Demand Theory——Taking Taiyuan City as an Example
In the new era and new stage of development, facing the trend of declining population growth, various cities have launched a"talent grabbing war"to seize opportunities and seek development. It is urgent to create a good urban environment and improve the attractiveness of the population.Based on the concept of putting people first, starting from the perspective of human needs in the evaluation of urban population attractiveness level, supported by Maslow's demand theory,a two-level indicator system including demand layer and condition layer was constructed and quantitatively analyzed.Regression analysis was conducted on the attractiveness level of urban population and permanent population to verify the effectiveness of the model. To provide a new quantitative evaluation basis for enhancing the attractiveness of urban population, for self-evaluation of cities and comparative evaluation between different cities.Taking Taiyuan City as an example for empirical analysis, targeted suggestions for optimizing and improving the comprehensive urban environment were proposed.
