The Impact of Housing Price Fluctuations on the Upgrading of Urban Residents'Consumption Structure——Analysis Based on the Central Region
Studying the impact of housing price fluctuations on the upgrading of urban residents'consumption structure is of great significance for implementing the strategy of expanding domestic demand and promoting the stable and healthy development of the real estate market.The article is based on panel data from six provinces in central China from 2006 to 2020,and empirically tests the impact of housing price fluctuations in the central region on the upgrading of urban residents'consumption structure.Research shows that overall,rising housing prices will promote the upgrading of the consumption structure of urban residents in the central region;From a provincial perspective,there are regional differences in the impact of housing price fluctuations on the upgrading of urban residents'consumption structure.Shanxi and Henan show a promoting effect,while Anhui,Hubei,Hunan,and Jiangxi show a restraining effect.
