A Study on Division of Provenances as Woodpulp Stands of Picea Asperata
Statistical analysis on geographical and meteorological factors innatural distribution districts of Picea asperata have shown that annualrainfall and its monthly distribution are unimportant among the factorsaffecting growth of the tree species. Of the provenance standsinvolved, significant differences demonstrate in annual diameter-increment averaged over both the chronological age and its first 30years, basic density of wood, as well as fibre length and width and theirratio. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis four different provenanceareas have been divided for woodpulp stands of Picea asperata.
